They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendour. - Isaiah 62:3
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. - Psalm 127:4
What We Believe
Our community is shaped by our beliefs and members of the group uphold the following statements of faith.

The Apostles' Creed
We believe in God the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth;
and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried:
he descended to the dead; the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
from there he shall come to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit;
the holy catholic church;
the communion of saints;
the forgiveness of sins;
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.

General Evangelical Confession of Faith*
a) We believe the Bible to be the only inerrant Word of God. It is our only authoritative rule for faith and practice.
b) We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. In all things He is limited by nothing other than His own nature and character. We believe the God we
serve is holy, righteous, good, loving, and full of mercy. He is the Creator, Sustainer, and Governor of everything that has been made.
c) We believe that God created humanity in his own image and according to two distinct genders. Men and women are equal in sharing an inherent value, dignity and worth, yet created to complement one another by their difference, honouring and upholding the distinctive roles assigned them by God. Therefore we uphold that marriage is designed only for the union of one man and one woman, to the glory of God.
d) We believe in the true deity and full humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the
Father and in His personal return in power and glory.
e) We believe that because of Adam's sin all mankind is in rebellion against God. For the salvation of such lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary.
f) We believe that salvation is by grace through faith alone, and that faith without works is dead.
g) We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
h) We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. This is expressed primarily in local congregations of believers. The local church is the believer’s chief source of teaching, pastoral care, correction and encouragement, as well as their first responsibility for service outside of the home and family.
i) We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved to the resurrection of life, and those who are lost to the resurrection of damnation.
